"Repairing the World: Stories from the Tree of Life" - A Conversation for Los Angeles

In collaboration with IKAR and Samara Hutman's The Righteous Conversations Project, gathered to watch the new NIOT film Repairing the World: Stories from The Tree of Life. What followed was a deeply meaningful conversation about unity, resilience, and hope featuring: Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Congressman Adam Schiff, Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, Rabbi Sharon Brous, Executive Director of NewGround, Aziza Hasan, and the film's director Patrice O'Neill.

A Conversation for Los Angeles on Antisemitism and Hate - "Repairing The World: Stories From The Tree Life"

On May 1st, more than 300 people gathered at Directors Guild of America for a screening of Repairing the World: Stories from The Tree of Life. In collaboration with IKAR Congregation, Not In Our Town, The Righteous Conversations Project, and 30 faith based,civil rights, and civic organizations,  Angelenos viewed a short version of the film and discussed how to address rising antisemitism and hate.

Join Us for 'Repairing the World' Screening Events in Walnut Creek and Los Angeles, California in March!

Two free community screenings in Walnut Creek and Los Angeles coming up this month. The Walnut Creek event will include a Q&A with Director Patrice O’Neill. Hosted by Campolindo and supported by iKind. The LA screening will feature a discussion with film director and community leaders led by Rabbi Sharon Brous.

Community partners include IKAR, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, LA vs. Hate, LA Civil Rights, LA is for Everyone, The Righteous Conversations Project, ADL-LA, 30 Years After, JQ International and Newground | A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change. Join us!

We Stand in Solidarity With the Jewish Community Against Antisemitism

We encourage every community to stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and explicitly condemn this type of hatred. We must surround communities that feel threatened and targeted. Solidarity is the solution to this type of divisive hate. We encourage every community to voice their support for their local and national Jewish neighbors.
