We join the leaders of Not In Our Town: Bloomington-Normal in celebrating the work of the Not In Our Schools chapter of students in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, who held a march on Monday to stand up for African-American LGBTQ+ fellow citizens. They were so well organized, great speakers and conducted themselves with passion and compassion.

There is so much raw pain at this moment that is also filled with promise.  Hopefully, many more people in our communities now are open to hearing the voices of people who are facing racism and bigotry, and ready to do something about it. Let's get to work.
