The Making of 'We Are Family' — A Conversation with Niles Rodgers, Nancy Hunt and Patrice O'Neill

In the tragic wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks, legendary songwriter, producer and musician Nile Rodgers re-recorded his classic hit song to revitalize a spirit of unity, solidarity and civic pride — with a diverse community of artists, actors, personalities, firefighters, policemen and everyday citizens. Featuring Afrika Bambaataa, Ashford & Simpson, Jackson Browne, Roberta Flack, Joel Gray, KC & the Sunshine Band, Eartha Kitt, Patti Labelle, Queen Latifah and many more.

The Making and Meaning of 'We Are Family' documentary will be shown as part of Globalvision Film Festival's Pop Culture Weekend offerings from April 23-25, 2021. On Friday, April 23, join us at 7:30 PM ET for a live Q&A with musical legend Nile Rodgers and Nancy Hunt of the We Are Family Foundation and NIOT's Executive Director Patrice O'Neill!
