(Pictured from left to right) Greg Suhr, Chief of Police for the San Francisco Police Department; Paul Di Lella, Director of Law Enforcement Relations for Not In Our Town; and John Sanford, Captain of the Park District branch of the SFPD, joined together to celebrate National Night Out in San Francisco.

Not In Our Town was invited by the San Francisco Police Department to join in its celebration of National Night Out on August 4, 2015. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. The campaign brings together neighbors and law enforcement in communities across the country; it aims to provide positive, inclusive activities in order to enhance relationship-building and to foster a sense of neighborhood community. Not In Our Town was honored to participate in the celebration at Park Station, and presented films about police and community collaboration in their continued effort to build safe, inclusive communities.

These films included Not On Our Ground, Not In Our Town, an anti-bullying public service announcement created in collaboration with the 2015 NBA champions Golden State Warriors; Charleston: The Days After, a short that highlights the stories of people on the ground in Charleston days after the horrific attack on the AME Emanuel Church; and A Bowling Green Legacy, which details how the town of Bowling Green, OH came together and launched a university and community-wide Not In Our Town campaign when racist incidents impacted their town.
