He shares what it was like to talk about the work he has been doing in his community and across the country to stop hate.

In the decade since Oak Creek Temple Shooting, the local sangat has continued to commemorate this devastating loss while also modeling the resilience inherent in the Sikh faith. On the weekend of August 5, 2022, Sikh Americans and allies from across the country came together in Oak Creek to recognize this milestone. The events of the Oak Creek 10th Anniversary Remembrance were titled “Heal, Unite, Act!”

“Repairing the World” has been selected as one of the films being shown at the SF Jewish Film Festival on July 31. The film’s producer, Patrice O’Neill, and NIOT member Jeff Greendorfer, joined KGO 810 San Francisco's John Rothmann on July 27 to talk about the film and what communities can learn from the response to hate in Pittsburgh.
