Workshop: Addressing Microaggressions and Implicit Bias

The Not In Our School Learning Community Workshop Series is a new initiative that launches with a kick-off free workshop in April, with more workshops planned for the fall.

This free Interactive Learning Community event for educators will provide methods to address microaggressions and implicit bias. As part of an educator network dedicated to building inclusive school communities, participants will have the opportunity to develop strategies with a supportive cohort of teachers. The Learning Community will focus on microaggressions and implicit bias in the classroom, collaborate on ideas to empower students, and share methods and best practices. This event will be limited to 50 participants and run for approximately 1 hour in length.
