NIOT Rockland County strives to address the underlying causes of intolerance and educate through action.
After a rash of attacks on area Latino day laborers, a broad coalition of Rockland County residents decided to stand together and take positive action for a safer community. They gathered together to watch the first Not In Our Town film, organized monthly meetings, and took on the name Not In Our Town Rockland County.
