Racist graffiti in Concord/Clayton

claycord.blogspot.com/2010/03/racist-graffiti-at-highlands-park-in.html

The NIOT Yahoo group just shared this story about racist graffiti. Many people on this blog post seem very concerned and ready to do something. Any ideas for visible action?

I think we need a day, or a Wall that someone who is artistic can go to and place their views peacefully and lovingly so that way they prevent people from posting horrible things and will see that so many people care about their town and is full of love and community. Like a Cement wall, or even a wooden one for instance you see in Richmond paintings of their community embracing love and peace. I even one day went into a Berkeley restroom, and found a Chalk Board in there for people to express their views and all of them, except for the few were about love, peace and tolerance. I think that is a great idea, and I would love to see a comment wall for people to freely express their views and see the love, peace and tolerance.

Love,

Dan
