The Not In Our Town film crew had the pleasure of joining the city of Lancaster, Calif. during its Not In Our Town Anti-Bullying Week, a collaboration between the city and four primary and secondary school districts.

About Not In Our Town Lancaster:

From Nov. 15-19, four area school districts counted on 200 student leaders to spearhead student activities at 20 schools, serving 50,000 students overall. While each school developed their own events, activities ranged from signing anti-bullying pledges, creating a Wall of Hope, and sharing stories of those lost to bullying. On Nov. 17, the city gathered for a "Darkness to Light" performance, memorializing seven students across the county who committed suicide as a result of being bullied. The dramatization was created and performed by Del Sur Middle School Students.
