Representatives from the Park District of the San Francisco Police Department, the Park District Community Police Advisory Board, and the San Francisco District Attorney's Office came together to screen NIOT films in a community forum. The representatives and community members discussed challenges to hate crime prosecution as well as the importance of community involvement in identifying and reporting hate crimes.
Assistrict District Attorny Marisa Rodriguez moderated the panel, which included Sergeant Peter Shields, Park Station CPAB members Susan Porter Beckstead and Mark Scheuer, Investigator Quincy Ruffin, Supervisor London Breed, and Assistant District Attorney Laura Claster.
