Allies

The Trail is a joint project between Students Working for Equal Rights, the Florida Immigrant Coalition, and Presente.org. Our allies include Campus Progress, CASA de Maryland, the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights, the Center for Community Change, among many others.

Action Highlights

Joining the NAACP in an anti-KKK rally in Nahunta, Georgia. Walking with hundreds to a packed church in Atlanta, Georgia. Speaking to students across the states we have traversed.

Challenges

Walking 15+ miles a day. Learning to walk these miles, four months straight, with all four people.

Lessons

To cover the 'hot spots' we see on our feet with duct tape to prevent blisters.
